ABOUT BLUSCBA

to the BLUSCBA
The Brownsville Licensed Customs Brokers Association (BLUSCBA) was founded
in 1972 to assist import/export service providers cope with logistic issues during
a very difficult period in our history. This industry partnership continues today
with the Association providing a hands-on advocacy to the membership. The BLUSCBA
meets every six weeks with senior CBP and OGA management to resolve any matters
pertaining to trade issues in the Port of Brownsville. This meeting is open, with
prior notification to the BOD, to any member of the Association. The Association
conducts educational workshops and seminars designed to provide professional
development in the brokerage and forwarding service industry.
For more than 30 years BLUSCBA has been the voice of our industry in Brownsville.
